Games for Cats

I Can Has iPadz and Androidz!

It’s been previously reported that Apple’s magical and revolutionary device, the iPad, is creating a unique market that fills the gap between the PC and mobile phone. With the iPad’s success, it’s obvious that such a market for tablets exist as we see each and every device maker around the globe scrambling to release their own device and OS. However, it looks like there’s a new kind of demographic that this market has created, that of Cats. Yes, you read right. Cats.

Purina, probably spurred by videos of cats playing with iPads, launched three Friskies branded games for cats. According to the cat food manufacturer, the games were developed “based on research of cats’ senses and how they react to different stimuli” (I say BS on that because I think the game were made for humans too) and much like Playboy for iPad, the games were done in HTML5 goodness which means you or your cat can play the games in either your iOS or your cat’s Android device. To start playing, just visit GamesforCats.com. Just make sure you have a very tough screen protector to protect your device from your cat’s claws or your grubby fingers.
